Upcycled Marine Plastic by SEAQUAL INITIATIVE has material traceability and certification. It contains a unique identifying tracer. Products made with Upcycled Marine Plastic are certified by SEAQUAL LAB.

At SEAQUAL Initiative, we recognise the importance of supporting ocean clean-up efforts worldwide. Our mission is not to seek materials for recycling; instead, we focus on recycling the materials we find, ensuring a more sustainable future for our environment.

As we endeavour to make a positive impact on a global scale, the SEAQUAL Initiative understands the importance of local solutions. Currently, all marine plastic transformation occurs in Europe, sourced from clean-ups across Europe, the Mediterranean, and the west coast of Africa. However, we are committed to expanding our reach to strategic locations worldwide, starting with Asia and Central and North America. Our goal is to empower local communities and enhance their waste management and recycling infrastructure to fight the global issue of marine litter.
SEAQUAL MARINE PLASTIC: A NEW BEGINNING FOR OCEAN WASTE
SEAQUAL Initiative has taken a significant step towards addressing marine litter by transforming it into SEAQUAL Marine Plastic. This fully traceable raw material has the power to raise awareness about the severity of marine litter and recognise those dedicated to its eradication.
Marine litter collected by clean-up programs is sorted, and the plastic portion is cleaned and transformed into SEAQUAL Marine Plastic at our approved facilities. This innovative material is then returned to various industries to create beautiful and sustainable products.
